Recycling Books

I was very excited two months a go when a book club started at my local village cafe as I use to read all the time before children were ever thought off. But since having children I never seem to have the time or I go to read a book and it either takes me a year or I fall asleep a few pages in. So I thought this book club would be great for me, as I would have to find the time to read the book and also I get to go out and meet up with some new interesting people once a month to discuss the book we have read.

Not only have I found the time to read each book in time to discuss it at the book club, it also   got my creative juices running wild from re-claimed use of my imagination.

I have hundrands of books sat in old boxes in our loft that I enjoyed reading but then abanded them to the dust build up. So I put my creative imagination into over drive and started designing a mobile to hang over my book shelf in the studio.

I love the result of the mobile with its organic structure and its flow of falling pages.

I have a great big THANK YOU for my local book club for giving me this new lease of life towards old books.

I am now reading the third book that the club has set and the club has grown into a lovely group with different interesting people joining all the time and a large online following to.

I would love to hear weather you attend a book club and what book you could recommend to mine to try out.
